McDonald's are bringing the McNugget to Reading fest. Are you lovin' it?
Good news for poultry enthusiasts attending this year's Reading festival – McDonald's are selling McNuggets onsite.
Where festival grub is usually the same mix of dodgy burgers, cardboard pizza and poor vegan options, the golden arches are making their way into Reading festival to bring a touch of the high street to Richfield Avenue next weekend.
"Who's coming to Reading Festival next weekend?" reads a tweet from the official Reading & Leeds Twitter. "We hope you're a fan of McNuggets, because McDonald's will be joining us!"
According to reports, as well as giving away free McNuggets, the crowd at Reading will be able to try Augmented Reality McNugget lenses (sure), explore a McNugget maze (of course), and enjoy a 360-degree spinning photo experience (just what you need after shoveling a ton of breaded chicken into your face).
This isn't the first festival to feature the McNuggets tour, McDonald's have also visited TRNSMT and Wireless festivals this summer.
There's no word yet if Leeds festival will also receive a visit from the Golden Arches, although many Twitter users are calling for it. Plus a return of the McFlurry van.
Taking place across August Bank Holiday weekend (August 23-25), this year's Reading and Leeds festivals feature performances from Foo Fighters, twenty one pilots, A Day To Remember, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Enter Shikari, Ghostemane, The Distillers, Laura Jane Grace, Of Mice & Men and more.
Reading festival has sold out, but you can get Leeds festival tickets now.
