Ontario emos Arm’s Length have announced their second album, There’s A Whole World Out There.

The quartet have signed to Pure Noise Records for this next chapter – following up their 2022 debut Never Before Seen, Never Again Found – and will be releasing album number two in full on May 16.

Before that, Arm’s Length have shared lead single Funny Face, which lyricist/vocalist and guitarist Allen Steinberg says is about “how discouragement from a trusted loved one can shape who you are as a person and your overall outlook on life”.

“It’s one of our darkest, heaviest tracks,” Allen continues. “Lyrically, I wanted to illustrate the narrative of being entangled in a toxic co-dependent relationship, whether romantic or familial. It’s a straightforward, desperate sounding song, sonically and lyrically.”
