On what would have been Chester Bennington's 43rd birthday, social media was flooded with beautiful tributes from the singer's friends and family yesterday (March 20).
As well as moving words and photos from Linkin Park and Chester's wife Talinda, his mother Susan Eubanks also posted again on Twitter for the first time since November 2018 to mark the occasion, revealing the final photo she ever took with her son before his passing.
"It has been a very long time since I posted anything, but in light of my son’s birthday I just want to tell you all that I am OK and miss my boy so very much!" Susan wrote. "Hoping you are all well and I love you all! Chester would want us to celebrate his birthday!"
And in a tweet sharing their final selfie, she added: "The last time I saw my beautiful boy! Happy Birthday to the best thing that ever arrived on the first day of spring! I love you and miss you so much!!"
Chester's family, friends and bandmates also shared some touching tributes – along with the rest of the rock community:
