“I’m freaking out!” Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hits Number One in the UK charts

This Black History Month, we’ve teamed up with The Royal Society of Arts for a special, important discussion featuring host Sophie K and panellists Kid Bookie, Alex Ekong and Laviea Thomas.
Kerrang! are proud and excited to announce that this Black History Month, we’ve teamed up with The Royal Society of Arts for a free event in London.
The K! and RSA panel – which takes place at RSA House’s Durham Street Auditorium on October 16 – will focus on Black voices in alternative music, and will be hosted by the one and only Sophie K.
Kerrang! Radio and On Wednesdays We Wear Black’s Sophie will be steering an important convo between Tyronne Hill aka London alt. star Kid Bookie, Decolonise Fest co-founder Alex Ekong and music journalist Laviea Thomas, where they’re set to touch on their individual experiences within the rock and metal scene, how they think things are changing, what else needs to be done, and much more.
“The RSA is overjoyed to be able to collaborate with Kerrang! in providing a platform for such an important conversation,” says The RSA General Manager, Sam Deeprose. “We cannot wait to welcome everyone into our house for an evening that is guaranteed to provoke and inspire. Hopefully, this will be the first of many evenings to come.”
