“I’m freaking out!” Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hits Number One in the UK charts
See Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong accepting their trophy from the Official Charts to celebrate Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hitting Number One.
The latest video from the Los Angeles industrial black metallers is a deluge of snakes, bondage, and unadulterated sin.

For a second, let's forget scene politics, posturing, hipster appropriation, the mainstream, and all of the other silly window dressing surrounding heavy music -- what drew you to metal? Was it a chance to talk about which bands are appropriately using religious imagery or displaying the correct reverence for their elders? No, fuck all that. You came here for blood, fire, and death, the kind of outrageous, deviant shit that made angels weep and parents pee a little. You were looking for the chugging, grinding, screaming evil that rose out of your darkest subconscious when you thought no one else was watching.
But you were wrong -- Dawn Of Ashes were paying attention, and they understood. The LA-based industrial black metallers stared into the throbbing, blasphemy-caked core of your headbanger psyche and found in pleasing. And in their new video for The Serpents Of Eden, a track off of their upcoming new album The Crypt Injection II (Non Serviam), the band has decided to chew up your dark thoughts and spit them right back into your eyeballs. The video is a jostling collage of BDSM, satanic posturing, military footage, and a confrontational performance by the band themselves, all set in what appears to be the final room from Poe's The Masque Of The Red Death. Isn't all that why we got into this in the first place?
