Album review: Deafheaven – Lonely People With Power
Take the power back: Deafheaven return with unexpectedly heavy and entirely expectedly brilliant sixth album.
This is going to be incredible.
Having released a gorgeous new single and video, Honeycomb, yesterday, Deafheaven have now confirmed details of their highly-anticipated fourth record.
The post-black-metal masters will be releasing Ordinary Corrupt Human Love – the follow-up to 2015's New Bermuda – on July 13, via ANTI- Records.
The full-length was produced once again by Jack Shirley, with its title being taken from Graham Greene’s The End of the Affair.
The tracklist to Ordinary Corrupt Human Love is as follows:
1. You Without End
2. Honeycomb
3. Canary Yellow
4. Near
5. Glint
6. Night People
7. Worthless Animal
And the artwork looks like this:
Watch the beautiful Honeycomb below, too:
Brilliant stuff.
