Blue Ruth, Resting Bitch Face and Layla Tutt will play next month’s first-ever Birmingham edition of Decolonise On Tour.
After launching their first touring edition of Decolonise Fest last year, the next line-up (and city) has been confirmed.
At the end of March, Decolonise will head to The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham for the latest of their On Tour instalments, bringing a line-up featuring Midlands alternative POC artists Blue Ruth, Resting Bitch Face and Layla Tutt.
“Decolonise Fest is excited to bring our punx of colour ethos to Birmingham for the first time,” announces Decolonise member Stephanie Phillips. “As a born and bred West Midlander, I’m also incredibly proud that we will be able to showcase both the rich, alternative music history of the city and the diversity of cultures that Birmingham is known for.
“Our On Tour series will give allies and people of colour the opportunity to build solidarity with one another, while demonstrating that the future of punk and alternative music lies with artists of colour.”
