QOTSA cancel more festival dates, with Josh Homme needing “continued medical care”
After Josh Homme had to fly home for emergency surgery a few weeks ago, Queens Of The Stone Age have cancelled some more shows “under doctor’s orders”.
Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold will be headlining next year’s Download, while the likes of Royal Blood, The Offspring, Sum 41, Corey Taylor, Machine Head, BABYMETAL and Bad Omens are also on the line-up…
The wait is over, and the first announcement for Download Festival 2024 has just dropped.
Next year’s Donington Park bash will be headlined by Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold – with the former two bands making their Download bill-topping debuts.
Elsewhere a further 80-plus bands have been announced across the line-up, including Royal Blood, The Offspring, Sum 41, Corey Taylor, Machine Head, BABYMETAL, Fear Factory, Bad Omens, While She Sleeps, Billy Talent, Bowling For Soup and more.
“We are super excited to be playing Download for the third time but as they say the third time is a charm, so hopefully we get it right this time!” says Avenged’s Synyster Gates. “We appreciate everyone coming back and joining in the madness and the fun.”
Download Festival 2024 – aka DLXXI – takes place at Donington Park from June 14 – 16, 2024. Barclaycard pre-sale tickets are on sale right now. Get your tickets here.
