As promised, the first Download Festival announcement for 2024
has arrived.
And there’s a ton more artists added to this year’s line-up
– 22, to be precise – from returning legends to some surprise new
additions.
Ahead of their highly-anticipated UK tour next month, Enter Shikari are set
to take on the Apex Stage underneath The Offspring and headliners Fall Out Boy,
while Tom Morello will join them on the same day on the Opus Stage.
Also making appearances on those stages are Black Stone Cherry, Frank Carter &
The Rattlesnakes, Code Orange and more taking on the Apex, and the likes of Electric
Callboy and Mr. Bungle on the Opus.
Elsewhere, Busted are set to make their Donington debut by
headlining the Avalanche Stage on the Friday night, with Wheatus directly
underneath.
The pop-rock trio enthuse: “We are honoured and privileged to be at
Download Festival this year. To be on a bill with so many acts that have
inspired us and continue to make us want to be a better band is a real moment
in our career. We have had the most amazing 12 months of being Busted, and now
we have this to add to the list. We are gonna go all-out… Get ready to jump up
and down and lose your minds with us. Busted at Download! Wicked. Let’s ’ave
it!”
