Dave Grohl and Co are busy at it again. Foo Fighters confirmed at their recent headline show in Austin that they have recorded new material! How exciting.
Dave Grohl has confirmed that Foo Fighters have recorded five new songs. Woah!
During the band’s recent set in Austin, Texas – which also saw Ben Kweller join them for Big Me – Dave confirmed to the crowd that the band have in fact been busy writing and recording new songs in the city.
Speaking to the crowd, Dave exclaims, “I’m just gonna say it now: We recorded five fucking new songs in your beautiful city of Austin, Texas. And we’re gonna give it to you! But not tonight.”
The band released their last album Sonic Highways back in 2014, where the band recorded a song in eight different cities around America. Looks like they are just sticking to the one city this time round.
