Panic! At The Disco fans, rejoice: two former members – who never played together during the course of the band – performed onstage over the weekend.
Co-founding guitarist, keyboardist and songwriter Ryan Ross (who was in Panic! from 2004 to 2009) and bassist/keyboardist Dallon Weekes (whose stint was longer, touring between 2009 and 2017 and contributing creatively, too) appeared at Phantom Planet’s charity concert at The Regent Theater on February 1.
Helping to raise money for those in need following the Los Angeles wildfires in January, the ex-Panic! chaps appeared with Phantom Planet and the other guests throughout the night. But the biggest talking point for emos everywhere was towards the end of the set, when Ryan, Dallon and iDKHOW guitarist Anthony Pupura all joined forces to cover Do The Panic, which you can watch footage of below.
Dallon’s wife Breezy Weekes was also in attendance, and took to Instagram to share a photo of the two Panic! At The Disco musicians together, writing: “These guys @dallonweekes and @thisistherealryanross were having a good time chatting last night, but I had to get a picture of them together for the people. Thank you @phantomplanet for making this possible. photo by @jacobspreng”
