Having previously worked with the likes of Davey Havok and Alissa White-Gluz, PETA have just teamed up with Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier for a new campaign.
Fresh from storming the Olympics and picking up a GRAMMY nomination, the musician is using his spotlight – as he always does – to speak up about the things he believes in. And this time, it’s veganism.
A new promo poster with Joe calls on people to “join the vegan revolution”, while Joe tells PETA in an accompanying interview that he originally “became vegan for the animals. But another benefit to being vegan is for your health. I have more energy now when I perform since I became vegan.”
He calls veganism “an awakening” rather than just a “trend”, and reveals that his family – including his two children – are all vegan as well. “When my second child was born, we decided to go vegan as a family,” Joe shares. “It’s going fabulous. They love not hurting animals.”
