GWAR have covered Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club

From Corey Taylor to Karen Dió, the music of Chappell Roan has proved particularly popular for rock and alternative covers over the past couple of years – and now, none other than GWAR have paid tribute to the Missouri pop superstar in their own unique way.

For The A.V. Club’s latest season of A.V. Undercover, the Berserker Blóthar, BälSäc the Jaws ’o Death, Beefcake the Mighty, JiZMak da Gusha and Grodius Maximus perform a rendition of Chappell’s 2023 mega-hit Pink Pony Club.

The Berserker Blóthar tells the publication that, “Pink Pony Club is about embracing exile from a boring, shitty world and remaking yourself into whatever you want – be who you are, be who you aren’t, piss people off, we don’t care!”
