Following last May’s first look at Halsey in A24’s MaXXXine, the official trailer for the movie has now just been released.
The upcoming slasher will see the musician joining forces with an, ahem, killer cast of Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon for the final film in the X franchise, with Halsey and co. being transported to glamorous (but equally evil) ’80s Hollywood.
A brief synopsis reveals that “adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
Directed by Ti West, MaXXXine hits UK cinemas on August 9 – so in the meantime, watch the first trailer below:
