Following Pilgrimage To Oblivion and Twice Born, Ihsahn has unveiled one final single from next month’s self-titled album(s).
The Norwegian black metal legend has just released new single and video The Distance Between Us, which he describes as coming from a “more reflective and melancholic perspective”, both musically and lyrically, than what we’ve already heard.
“The first two singles were taken from the beginning of the conceptual narrative, generating the hubris and determination required,” says Ihsahn. “With this last single, we’re getting closer to the end of the story.”
The record Ihsahn – which contains one prog metal and one symphonic LP – is due out on February 16 via Candlelight. Check out newest offering The Distance Between Us below:
