1. What’s the best thing you know how to cook?
“Traditional Brazilian rice and beans. Matt [Bigland, Dinosaur Pile-Up frontman and Karen’s husband] is the chef at home. I can do Brazilian chocolate cake as well!”
2. What’s the best movie ever made?
“We literally just watched Inglourious Basterds a few days ago, and I was like, ‘Yeah, this movie is fucking amazing.’”
3. Who is your non-musical hero?
“It’s kind of musical too, but my husband. I just love him. He's amazing, and he'd been through so much, but he's still such a positive person.”
4. Dogs or cats?
“Both! I love them so much. I wish I had dogs and cats but right now I just have cats because of my lifestyle – it’s just easier to have cats.”
5. What is your biggest fear?
“Ghosts, which is silly, but they’re terrifying. I’m like, ‘Just don’t come and talk to me or leave me any messages!’"
6. What were you like in school?
“I was kind of friends with everybody – I got along with the popular people but also the nerds. I wasn’t a rebel or anything, I was very chill to be honest. I just wanted to get out because it was boring as fuck!”
7. What’s your favourite city?
“I love where I came from, which is Santos in Brazil. I wasn't born there, but I was basically raised there. It was where I made my whole teenage memories.”
