Polyphia tease Serj Tankian and BABYMETAL collabs on their next album
Following 2022’s Remember That You Will Die, Polyphia’s Tim Henson says the band have some major collabs in the works for their next record…
Listen to Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape track CS – which is actually a killer cover of System Of A Down’s classic nu-metal banger Chop Suey!
We were incredibly psyched to hear both Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL featuring on Lil Uzi Vert’s just-released new album Pink Tape upon release last Friday, but a scroll down the 26-song tracklist has revealed something else that people may have missed at first glance…
Landing at number 17 on the record, right before Lil Uzi Vert’s Bring Me collab Werewolf, is a song simply called CS – which, in fact, is a full-on cover of System Of A Down’s mega-hit Chop Suey!.
And the Philly rap star has gone for a pretty faithful rendition too, tackling plenty of nu-metal elements while also throwing in some of their own unique touches, making for a brilliantly wild listen.
This heavy streak follows the release of last month’s explosive collab with BMTH and Glassjaw’s Daryl Palumbo, AmEN!.
