mgk has released a powerful new Linkin Park-esque rap-rock single, your name forever, in tribute to the late Luke ‘Dingo’ Trembath who passed away last month at the age of 38.
Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes, Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows and MOD SUN all lend their vocals to the track, while A7X’s Synyster Gates also plays guitar on the emotional tribute to Dingo.
“Dingo meant so much to us and many of our friends,” writes Shadows on X. “SG and myself jumped on this song to celebrate his life. Shoutout to MGK for turning this around so quickly. Dingo is looking down smiling.”
Posting about the loss on Instagram, mgk said that, “I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother. We’ll never get another Dingo on this planet. A true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honor of knowing.”
