See Loathe debut a brand-new song on Spiritbox’s tour
Joining Spiritbox on the road for the Tsunami Sea North American Tour, Loathe have been opening their support set with a brand-new track…
At her Coachella sub-headline slot last night (April 13), Megan Thee Stallion invited out an array of special guests, including Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante for the live debut of TYG.
Midway through the band’s current North American tour, Courtney LaPlante made a detour on Sunday evening to join Megan Thee Stallion at Coachella.
The Spiritbox superstar appeared four songs into Megan’s sub-headline set in Indio, California, coming out onstage – along with some Bigfoot-y creatures – to perform their 2024 collab TYG (Test Your Gangsta).
Megan brought out other special guests at various times throughout her 18-song set: Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét and Ciara.
Watch Courtney’s surprise appearance below:
In a 2023 interview with Music Week, Courtney revealed that working with Megan for the rock remix of Cobra – their first collab together – was like “Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and all the holidays wrapped into one for me. I love Cobra, it resonated with me so much in its message. I usually hate when people say, ‘That is so brave!’ but it was just so fierce that she would put all that on the line.”
