Linkin Park, Metallica, Korn, Bad Omens and more for Sonic Temple festival 2025
Sonic Temple is going bigger than ever for 2025 with Metallica, Korn, Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Poppy, Motionless In White and more across four days...
Metallica, My Chemical Romance, Machine Gun Kelly, Rise Against, Parkway Drive and more have been announced for California's Aftershock 2021.
While we sadly didn't get to see My Chemical Romance's huge reunion tour or Metallica's planned double festival sets this year due to a certain virus, the New Jersey emo heroes have just announced a massive appearance alongside the metal legends for next year's Aftershock 2021.
Gerard Way and co. are set to feature in an epic ’Tallica sandwich (delicious) for the Sacramento, California event next October, with the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Rise Against, Rancid, Social Distortion, Mastodon, Gojira, The Offspring and Creeper all joining them on the brilliantly stacked bill. As well as My Chem and a pair of Metallica headline sets, Aftershock have also added a fourth night to the festival to kick the weekend off, headlined (appropriately) by Limp Bizkit and featuring Parkway Drive, Testament, Hatebreed, Exodus, Knocked Loose and Fit For A King beforehand.
“We can’t wait to play at Aftershock 2021 with our Bay Area brothers Metallica,” say Rancid in a statement. “We first played with them on the Lollapalooza tour in 1996 along with the Ramones and later down the road we toured across South America together. It’s gonna be wild, see ya in the pit!”
Wild, indeed. Check out the full line-up below, and head to aftershockfestival.com for all ticket info.
