Metallica have donated $500,000 to California wildfire relief efforts
Metallica and their All Within My Hands foundation have announced that they’re granting $500,000 to relief efforts for the current Los Angeles fires.
Kirk Hammett performed the U.S. national anthem, and Lars Ulrich threw the first pitch.

Kirk played the U.S. national anthem during the pre-game ceremony, while Lars threw out the first pitch – and you can watch both below.
"It's a good opportunity for us to interact with our home team, hometown and interact with the people of the Bay Area in San Francisco," Kirk previously told Revolver. "And for me, it's a lot of fun to be able to play the national anthem."
