“We hope everyone enjoys our story – fans, friends or otherwise…” Nickelback’s new feature-length documentary Hate To Love… will hit cinemas in March.
Nickelback have announced that a feature-length documentary telling their story will arrive in cinemas for two nights next month.
The band’s 90-minute film – which goes by the name Hate To Love: Nickelback, and as you can probably tell by the title “celebrates the loyalty of Nickelback fans and delves into the years of online vitriol” – will be available to watch for two nights only on March 27 and 30, following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last September. Tickets go on sale from February 22.
“We are very excited to finally bring this film to theatres this spring,” they say. “It’s been a long road to get this project across the finish line and we must thank [producer] Ben Jones and [director] Leigh Brooks for all of their hard work. We hope everyone enjoys our story – fans, friends or otherwise.”
“We are both really excited to finally share this film with the fans around the world in such a huge and special theatrical event,” continue Ben and Leigh. “We think their patience will be worth the wait. It’s been a huge personal journey for us both and we thank the band too for letting us dig a little deeper than they expected!”
