Pierce The Veil have announced an incredibly special hometown gig.

The San Diego trio will play local baseball stadium Petco Park on September 12 for what will not only be their biggest headline show ever (with a capacity of almost 40,000), but also the finale of their The Jaws Of Life era as a whole.

“We’ve saved the biggest and best for San Diego,” says frontman Vic Fuentes. “There’s no place we’d rather close out the greatest tour of our career than right here in our hometown.

“This is more than a show to us. It’s a celebration of our roots and a massive thank you to the community that raised us. Headlining Petco Park is a defining moment for our band, and we’re going all out to deliver the biggest, loudest, and most unforgettable night of our lives for the fans who got us here.”

Tickets go on general sale this Friday, January 30 from 10am local time.

Speaking to Kerrang! about playing Petco Park with blink-182 on the pop-punks’ 2024 tour, Vic enthused: “It was a monumental moment to play our hometown. To step out onto a stage with a single microphone there and a stadium arranged around you was just crazy. It’s one of those things that I don’t think the brain can wrap its head around properly – you just kind of do it and you’re like, ‘That looks like a lot of people.’ It’s too much to think about.”
