After sending the internet into meltdown in February, mysterious band PRESIDENT have been teasing again.

The project became known several weeks ago when it was curiously added to this summer’s Download Festival line-up – but with absolutely no music out there, and no real info on who they/it even is.

Now, another new social media teaser shows a suited, masked figure standing in a hallway beneath a flickering light, before the date May 16 flashes up. So we’ve got over a month to find out more, but at least that’s something!

The video caption reads: “B E C A U S E - H O P E - I S - C H O O S I N G - T O - F I N D - M E A N I N G”

And check out the previous teaser:

On the artist page on the Download website, you can read the following statement about PRESIDENT:

“Citizens, the time has come.

“No names. No past. No distractions. Only the mission ahead.

“At Download Festival, the inauguration begins. Not with words, but with action. Not with empty promises, but with undeniable force.

“There will be no campaign, no debate, no opposition. Only one truth: President has arrived.

“The oath will be taken. The people will decide. History will be made.”
