Album review: Ray Noir – Scorpio
London alt. goth trailblazer Ray Noir continues his rise from sleazy street-corners to shady superstardom with scintillating seven-track mixtape Scorpio…
And catch Ray Noir on tour with Vampires Everywhere in October…
London-based goth-metal fiend Ray Noir has unleashed a new single, Pity Party, taken from his forthcoming mixtape, Scorpio.
Following from his recent, darkened cover of Tears For Fears' Shout, the track, recorded with electronic contributions from Combichrist's Bjørn Heden, is a shadowy goth club thumper, with a suitably glamorous and grimy video to match.
Have a look for yourself…
The song will be followed by a remix from Gothminister on October 13. Ray is also preparing to hit the road in the UK next month, with U.S. spooksters Vampires Everywhere and Bristol noisemakers RXPTRS.
