Flea reveals debut solo album and new collab with Thom Yorke
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea has announced his debut solo album Honora, and released new single Traffic Lights with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke.
Flea will interview the likes of Rick Rubin and Patti Smith for his new podcast This Little Light, which launches next month.
Next month Flea is set to premiere a brand-new interview podcast, This Little Light.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers bass legend has confirmed he’ll be chatting with Rick Rubin, Patti Smith, Thundercat, Margo Price, Cynthia Erivo and more for the series, in which Flea will share his own musical memories as well as digging into music education with his guests.
“I wanted to do This Little Light to benefit my music school, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music,” he says. “The idea behind it being music education, falling in love with music and embarking on a musical journey for your life. Everybody’s path is so different, and it’s fascinating to learn how every musician came to music and developed their study of it over time.”
This Little Light will launch on March 30 – the day after RHCP begin their 2023 world tour at BC Place in Vancouver.
