Creator Mike Judge has shared the first look at the return of Beavis And Butt-Head, and revealed that the duo “need some time to get back in shape”.
With Beavis And Butt-Head finally set to return this year, creator Mike Judge has unveiled the first look at the now-middle-aged duo, who are set to be "Gen X parents raising their Gen Z teenage children" in this next instalment.
The heavy metal-lovers will star in a new movie in 2022, with more stuff also on the way. Mike has shared alongside new mock-ups of the characters that there's no date for it all yet, but it'll be "soon", with Beavis and Butt-Head needing "some time to get back in shape". The Paramount+ movie is set to arrive first, before a new series then hits Comedy Central.
Back in July, President of Entertainment and Youth Group president Chris McCarthy announced in a press statement: "We are thrilled to be working with Mike Judge and the great team at 3 Arts again as we double down on Adult Animation at Comedy Central.
"Beavis and Butt-Head were a defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to watch as they navigate the treacherous waters of a world light-years from their own."
