Of course, Ozzy has been using 2020 quarantine to rest up after a rough time, having experienced “the worst fucking year of my life” following surgery after a fall, pneumonia, and then being diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s disease.
In June this year, he revealed, “I’m getting better – it’s a slow process, but I’m getting there slowly but surely. It’s been good actually, because I’ve been recovering from the surgery I had last year. I’ve never been at home this long in my whole career. I’ve had the chance to see my wife’s side of the fence more than me being on the road. It’s had its moment, though, I must confess.”
It hasn't stopped The Prince Of Darkness from being creative, though. Sharon confirmed in July that Ozzy had started work on another solo record – the follow-up to this year's awesome Ordinary Man.
“He’s starting his second album with [producer] Andrew Watt right now,” she said. “And you can’t stop him. He’s doing it.”
Looking forward to it. In the meantime, get well soon, Sharon!
