Clown on Slipknot’s year ahead: “We got a new album”
Clown is looking ahead to a 2025 that includes “no complaining” and a new record – but he doesn’t mean Look Outside Your Window, which he says was “never a Slipknot album”.
A reformed Slayer will top the bill at this year's Louder Than Life, alongside Slipknot, Korn and Mötley Crüe.
Yes, you read that correctly, the mighty Slayer are reuniting to headline Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky this September.
Having said farewell back in 2019 after more than three decades at the forefront of thrash, the Big Four icons are back and will be headlining the Friday night of the autumn rock and metal four-dayer.
"We're thrilled to announce that Slayer will be reuniting for an earth-shattering performance at Louder Than Life,” says festival promoter Danny Wimmer. ”I was at their last show at The Forum in 2019 and have been working since then to bring them back to the Louder stage!
With over 140 bands on five stages, we’re celebrating our 10th Louder Than Life with the biggest line-up yet!"
Joining Slayer as headliners are Slipknot, Korn and Mötley Crüe across the September 26 – 29 weekend, as well as The Offspring, Gojira, Spiritbox, Evanescence, Judas Priest, Mastodon and more.
