Must. Be. There.

Slipknot To Perform Iowa In Its Entirety For First Time Ever

Amazing news for those attending Knotfest in San Bernardino next month… Slipknot will be performing Iowa in full for the first time ever!

The ‘Knot have announced that they’ll be playing their incredible 2001 full-length in its entirety on September 25. Wow.

The set will follow the Ozzfest day of Slipknot and Ozzy Osbourne’s collaborative Slipknot Meets Ozzfest – happening at the San Manuel Amphitheater and Festival Grounds in California, also featuring the likes of Slayer, Trivium, Motionless In White and more.

“15 years ago, something quite extraordinary happened. 9 men from ‘IOWA’ went in to a studio in California and created one of the most chaotic and destructive albums ever made. It was, and still is, a shockingly physical and ferocious recording,” the band posted on Facebook. “To this day, it has never been performed in its entirety. That is about to change. On Sept 25, 2016, at KNOTFEST in San Bernardino, 30,000 people will experience an event that has NEVER been done before. It will be a dense and serious spectacle, both visually and sonically. But you’ll be able to say ‘you were there’.”
