Despite losing out to Turnstile on the night for Best Metal Performance, Spiritbox absolutely brought it to the 68th GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony.

Spiritbox performed a brilliantly well-oiled Soft Spine at the 68th GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony.
Taken from last year’s second album Tsunami Sea, the raging track was nominated in the Best Metal Performance category – up against Dream Theater, Ghost, Sleep Token and Turnstile, the latter being the winners on the night.
Nevertheless, beforehand Courtney LaPlante and co. crushed their performance of Soft Spine, and the GRAMMYs have shared the official footage – you can watch it below on YouTube (Spiritbox come onstage at around 1:34:05) or via Instagram.
This time last year, vocalist Courtney had an equally memorable experience at the GRAMMYs, when she went viral for a red carpet mix-up. Being mistaken for Poppy during an interview, she deadpanned that she “would love to take home the GRAMMY for Knocked Loose and myself because I would be the first woman to win this award”.
Surely everyone in attendance at yesterday’s Premiere Ceremony left with absolutely no doubts who Courtney was by the end…
