Before they hit the road next month on their Crying Across The USA tour, Static Dress have shared a song that you might have already seen live…
Having been performing a version of the song live now for well over a year, Static Dress have just released a proper, fully-fledged rendition of death to the overground.
The Leeds post-hardcore collective have given the crushing intermission iii: death to the overground. the full single treatment now with a typically badass accompanying video – but is it a taste of what’s to come from the band, or simply a one-off until we get the follow-up to Rouge Carpet Disaster at some point?! That remains to be seen…
We included Static Dress in our round-up of the 25 most anticipated albums of 2025, writing: “Don’t expect a sudden surprise drop next week or anything – word is it’s not even finished yet – but with the wind Olli Appleyard and co. have in their sails at the moment, whatever’s next for the Leeds art-hardcore collective is going to be something special.”
