Listen to The Amazons’ new single Night After Night, and catch the band on their 21st Century Fiction headline tour later this year.
The Amazons have unleashed a brand-new single, and announced details of a 10-date UK headline tour.
Both big bits of news surround the release of the band’s forthcoming 21st Century Fiction album, which is due out on May 9. First, listen to new single Night After Night, which frontman Matt Thomson reveals was inspired by visiting Hollywood non-nude strip club Jumbo’s Clown Room.
“What interested us were the guys who’d go there all the time, who became part of the furniture, at the bar night after night compelled to be there, unable to break out,” Matt explains. “It’s easy to judge, but we all have our habits, some more visible than others. It’s only when we try to hop the fence, that we realise how much of a hold they have over us.”
