Architects – Whiplash

No, not a cover of the early Metallica speed-fest. It's Architects, with a massive, lolloping low-end riff and a chorus so big you could screen IMAX on it. All of which, coupled with the other two songs they've released from it, point to new album The Sky, The Earth & All Between being an absolute belter when it drops next year.

Spiritbox – Perfect Soul

Spiritbox aren't in danger of slowing down anytime soon. Not content with selling out Ally Pally and being announced for Download, they've just announced their second album, Tsunami Sea, for March, and fired off this weighty-but-dreamy banger from it. So, yeah, next year belongs to them already.
