Architects are bringing out the big guns for their European arena run. Here's what they played on the opening night...
Architects are kicking off the new year in style with their biggest ever headline tour. Starting last night at Arenan Fryshuset in Stockholm, Sweden, the Brighton metallers are trekking across Europe, aiming to destroy the biggest venues it has to offer. And if you're lucky enough to have tickets to Architects' Holy Hell arena tour, this is what you're in for.
Drummer Dan Searle already told us to expect "a couple of surprises" and we have to admit, the setlist is ridiculous. Leaning heavily on their sensational Holy Hell album, the set is almost entirely taken from the latest three records, except for These Colours Don't Run (from 2012's Daybreaker).
Just look at it: not only is the opening trio guaranteed to send pints and bodies into the air, but Royal Beggar into Gravedigger is just asking for carnage. WE CANNOT WAIT.
Here's the Architects Holy Hell setlist in full
Death Is Not Defeat
Modern Misery
Nihilist
Deathwish
Broken Cross
Holy Hell
Royal Beggars
Gravedigger
Mortal After All

Naysayer
These Colours Don't Run
