“I’m freaking out!” Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hits Number One in the UK charts
See Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong accepting their trophy from the Official Charts to celebrate Linkin Park’s new album From Zero hitting Number One.
Members of Funeral For A Friend, Holding Absence and The Blackout will join 1,000 musicians to help pay tribute to Chester Bennington at a massive charity night put on by UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation.
UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation have just announced an amazing Linkin Park celebration entitled 1000 Lights.
This upcoming charity tribute event, taking place this summer at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena – the location of Chester Bennington’s last-ever performance in 2017, before his death two weeks later – will see members of Funeral For A Friend, Holding Absence, Caskets and The Blackout play along with 1,000 musicians.
On the night UPRAWR also say that there’ll “be talks and video messages from famous faces in the alt. scene, with more Linkin Park songs being performed to sing along too.”
The event will be in keeping with the UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation mission statement, which is to raise money to provide free-of-charge mental health counselling and services for the alternative community. (We spoke to founder Jack Davis last year all about his work – read more on that here.)
