VOWWS drop new single, announce Jerry Cantrell tour support slot

VOWWS have unveiled a brand-new single, Hurt You.

The song arrives as the Aussie duo – singer-keyboardist Rizz and singer-guitarist Matt James – also announce that they’ll be hitting Europe and the UK in a couple of months’ time, supporting none other than Jerry Cantrell.

Speaking about Hurt You, VOWWS state that the track is “probably as close as we’ll get to an actual love song. But it’s more like a memory of love, like a rose-tinted longing.

“Memories that feel more powerful with time as they wear out, becoming warmer and more romantic. Sometimes they change and become their own entity, like an old, flickering movie of the past, rather than the past itself. That feeling is what the song represents to us.”
