Later... With Jools Holland has hosted many rock acts during the series' illustrious time on the BBC: Twin Atlantic played not that long ago, and who could forget At The Drive In's incredible set back in 2000? Queens Of The Stone Age are no strangers to the show either, having performed on a number of occasions in the past.
They performed again last night (October 3) with Josh Homme and Dean Fertita joined by a string quartet as they played a brooding rendition of Villains Of Circumstance, which is taken from QOTSA's new album, Villains.
Watch the performance below:
This sounds pretty epic with a string quartet, maybe QOTSA can do that thing that bands do where they do a bunch of shows with an orchestra? We'd pay good money to see that.
Josh isn't done with TV stuff just yet either, as he'll be reading Zog, by Julia Donaldson on CBEEBIES' Bedtime Story on Friday (October 6) at 6.50PM.
