Guns N’ Roses, Biffy Clyro, Kneecap, Sex Pistols and more added to Rock for People 2025
Rock for People 2025 adds another day and more than 40 bands including Guns N’ Roses, Lorna Shore, Refused, Kneecap and Biffy Clyro…
The first teaser of new music from Simon Neil and Mike Vennart’s Empire State Bastard is here… and it’s heavy, obvs.
With summer shows already lined up at various UK and European festivals, Empire State Bastard are seemingly now gearing up to finally share their first new music with the world.
The band – the long-awaited new project from Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil and guitarist Mike Vennart – have officially launched their website and social channels (follow them on Insta at the very metal handle of @esb666_), and teased 16 glorious seconds of new music (it’s heavy, obvs).
So far, there’s very little to go on, though Mike did tease to Upset several years ago that ESB “is just a horrible headfuck. It’s nasty.” Simon also described their music as “grindcore extreme metal” to NME in 2022.
Listen below, and watch this space as Empire State Bastard promise that there’s “more coming soon”.
