"I’m spoiled," he says. "This week, Brian Lee and I produced a blink song and recorded it. Finished three jxdn songs; finished an acoustic MGK song and reworked three other songs on the album; played on a YUNGBLUD song; co-produced and played drums on a Steve Aoki song featuring Trevor Daniels and MGK. So it’s my dream job."
Mark, too, has been dipping his toes into non-blink-related work, with his Simple Creatures bandmate Alex Gaskarth revealing last month that the pair had been remotely throwing ideas between each other for what's to come next.
“We’re already working on potential quarantine music while we’re all on lockdown,” Alex said. “[Mark]’s in Idaho – he escaped while he still could – and I’m stuck home in Maryland, so we won’t be doing it in person but we’re sending ideas back and forth and we’re always talking about what the next steps are for Simple Creatures. It’s in the works.”
Mark also recently confirmed that blink's 2019 collaborations EP with rappers Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell is still happening on top of all of the above. Phew…
