They’re baaaaack! Following a couple of up-in-the-air months with drummer Travis Barker needing surgery on his finger, blink-182 officially made their live return with Tom DeLonge yesterday evening (April 14).
The reunited trio – completed by bassist Mark Hoppus – performed at Coachella to mark the very special occasion, which is the first time they’ve played live together since October 2014.
And they treated those lucky enough to be there with a banger-filled 18-song setlist, opening with Family Reunion (they still haven’t lost their sense of humour, then), before playing pop-punk classics like The Rock Show, Feeling This and What’s My Age Again?. Latest single EDGING got its live debut ninth in the setlist, and two songs later they played Aliens Exist for the first time with Tom since 2001.
blink then wrapped things up with an absolutely undeniable closing run: Down into Happy Holidays, You Bastard into I Miss You into All The Small Things into Dammit. Oooooft.
Luckily Coachella have shared a couple of great pro-shot videos of the performance, which you can watch below.
