Kim and Kanye West’s eight-year-old daughter: big on Black Sabbath and Hot Topic…
They say that kids instinctively rebel against their parents. Presumably young North West has heard her father Kanye’s recent Donda album, because her mother Kim Kardashian-West has revealed that the eight-year-old is all about Black Sabbath.
“North is like goth. She’s into Hot Topic,” Kim told Ellen DeGeneres. “She puts fake tattoos on her face and she listens to Black Sabbath. She’s just, like, a full goth girl.”
In the spirit of it taking one to know one, Kim’s gone fairly goth herself recently, turning up at the Met Gala in a face-covering head-to-toe black morph suit, which perfectly answered the question of what to wear when you have Sleep Token rehearsals at 8 and a massive celebration of celebrity garishness at 9.
And North will no doubt be delighted to know that Black Sabbath will be continuing their series of ‘70s albums reissues with a four-CD / five-LP super-deluxe boxset edition of 1977’s Technical Ecstacy album on October 1.
As well as a remastering of the original by legendary producer and prog genius Steven Wilson, the album comes with a host of previously unreleased extras. And probably still isn't as long as Donda...
