blink-182’s Mark Hoppus is auctioning off a rare Banksy painting for up to £5million
With an estimated value between £3-5million, blink-182’s Mark Hoppus is parting ways with his beloved Crude Oil (Vettriano) painting by Banksy.
blink-182 man Mark Hoppus will be taking his new memoir Fahrenheit-182 to theatres around the U.S. for some special ‘An evening with…’ events.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Mark Hoppus: fresh from playing a charity show with blink-182 and announcing the sale of a Banksy painting, the pop-punk legend has revealed he’ll be going on a book tour in April.
Mark will be taking his forthcoming memoir Fahrenheit-182 on the road to several theatres around the States, where fans will get to see him chat about the book and his life, and get their own copy with a ticket purchase.
Fahrenheit-182 has previously been described as a “funny, smart and relatable memoir”, which will tackle everything from Mark’s upbringing and love of all things “punk rock, skateboards and MTV”, to forming and taking over the world with blink, not to mention his “very human story of a constant battle with anxiety and Mark’s public battle and triumph over cancer”.
It’s due out on April 8, before he hits the road for ‘An evening with Mark Hoppus and all things Fahrenheit-182’ the following night:
