Paris’ Rock en Seine festival has been postponed until next year – though they're working on a new, original format for 2020.
Summer festival postponements and cancellations sadly keep rolling in at the moment, as Paris’ awesome Rock en Seine has now been pushed back to 2021.
The French event featured Rage Against The Machine and Run The Jewels on its August line-up, and though it won't be happening in person now, Rock en Seine have announced that they are working on "a new original format" to replace this year's festival.

"Over the past 16 years Rock en Seine has cemented itself as one of the biggest festivals in France, showcasing international talent in Paris’s Domaine National de Saint-Cloud’s beautiful parkland. Unfortunately it has become clear that these three days cannot take place in the format we had planned due to the health measures currently in place because of the ongoing crisis.

"Faced with this force majeure situation, all 2020 ticket holders will have the option of a refund. Ticket holders can also choose to keep their tickets until we announce the 2021 line-up. The terms and conditions will be clearly explained on our website in the next few days.
"While we wait to return to our original format in 2021, we’re not giving up hope! We’re working on an imaginative, creative, strong and symbolic culture and music event for as soon as health rules permit. Together with our partners and friends: artists, producers, media, sponsors, contributors, public authorities, we’re actively working on this alternative that’s going to bring culture and music back to Saint-Cloud.

Rock en Seine also add that they "stand in solidarity with the festivals and gatherings impacted by the situation" during the coronavirus pandemic, adding: "We remain optimistic: everyone in the cultural sector has stuck together and shown incredible solidarity in the past. Together – professionals and the general public – we can overcome this crisis.
"Given the current circumstances, we would also like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all those on the frontline in the fight against COVID-19 who continue to make our daily life possible.
"In the meanwhile, take care of yourselves. We will keep you informed as soon as possible."
