Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil surprised fans at Sam Palladio’s King Tuts headline show on September 23 for a very special performance…
After bringing out Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett at his London 100 Club show over the summer, last night Sam Palladio invited another very famous musician pal onstage in Glasgow to surprise his audience.
On Monday, September 23 the actor/singer-songwriter welcomed local lad Simon Neil at King Tuts to perform their recent duet Spill Your Heart, while Simon’s Biffy Clyro bandmates Ben and James Johnston were also in attendance watching on.
Sam said afterwards that, “Simon has always been my musical hero, so getting to collaborate with him on my debut record blew my mind and means the world. Having him out to sing our song Spill Your Heart at the iconic King Tuts in Glasgow was electric and a night I’ll never forget.
“He’s been so supportive and passionate about my music and I’m thankful to call him a friend. His music is fearless and inspiring and I look forward to getting to create together again. As the biggest Biffy Clyro fan, it’s still a ‘pinch me’ moment every time. I hope I don’t wake up. Mon the Biff.”
Hear, hear!
