Brighton-based duo SNAYX (pronounced ‘Snakes’) have just shared a brand-new single, and announced details of their debut EP.
The pair celebrate “being yourself with absolute intensity” on killer new track Deranged, detailing in a statement that the song is “about taking control of your life and biting back at conforming to social norms that suppress individuality”. Hear, hear!
The song is taken from their upcoming debut EP Weaponized Youth: Part 1, which is due out on March 10 (with the vinyl edition getting released via Austerity Records). SNAYX say of what they’re all about – in general and on this new record: “If you limit yourself creatively, you put yourself in a box. We've never wanted to do that. We want to work outside of boxes, to make something we truly love.”
