Listen to REAL LIFE LOVE, the first single from Speed’s upcoming debut album ONLY ONE MODE...
Hardcore firebrands Speed have announced details of their highly-anticipated debut album.
Titled ONLY ONE MODE, it's coming on July 12 through Flatspot Records, as well as Last Ride Records in their native Australia.
Having rapidly become one of the most-talked about bands in the ongoing, ever-growing wave of awesome hardcore bands, the Sydney bruisers will have a point to prove with their debut record, and that it's not all hype (trust us, they're the real deal).
Alongside the album announce, Speed have dropped a video for lead single REAL LIFE LOVE.
Speaking about the track, frontman Jem Siow says, “My time in hardcore has informed the relationships I have with everyone I hold close. An unconditional sense of love and loyalty. A bond that knows no words. Relationships that now span a lifetime. To us, this unique sense of deep-seated understanding is the essence of HC, it's what we're most passionate about and grateful for. Yet there are many in, and especially outside of this space who conflate this idea. If you stick around long enough, you might just get it. Otherwise, what's the point to all of this?”
Speed will return to the UK next month where they'll play Download Festival on June 14 – get your tickets here – and headline the inaugural Flatspot World London on June 16.
