Spiritbox unleash new single The Void: “It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time”

After debuting it live on their sold-out Eternal Blue Tour in North America, Spiritbox have just shared the official studio version of their brand-new single The Void.

Vocalist Courtney LaPlante reveals that the song “came about very quickly. I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it.”

She continues: “It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time.”

Spiritbox will be back in the UK this summer for a headline run, with support from Loathe and Brand Of Sacrifice. The tour kicks off in Birmingham on July 5, and will wrap up with two nights at London’s Roundhouse on July 13 – 14.
