While things are relatively quiet from the Avenged Sevenfold camp at the moment (we're hoping they're secretly chipping away at a new album…), guitarist Synyster Gates has expressed an interest in remastering old music from his pre-A7X band, Pinkly Smooth.
The group – formed by late Avenged Sevenfold drummer The Rev back in 2001 – were a short-lived project, however they did release one album, Unfortunate Snort. And now, in a new livestream with Rick Beato, Syn says he'd love to give fans proper versions of the music.
"It was just this crazy, clown-goblin metal, Danny Elfman-influenced stuff and it was so fun," he says. "I can't find the masters. I hear that there's actually an ugly rumour that some have surfaced, and if I can find those then I'm going to remaster it and give it to you guys."
