Crossovers between Marvel and the world of rock and metal happen all the time (Captain Marvel a Nine Inch Nails fan?!), but the latest little nod to our scene from Venom has gotten us extra excited.
The new Tom Hardy-fronted Spider-Man spin-off will be hitting cinemas in October, but a tracklist for the soundtrack has already arrived. And, as the folks at ScreenRant have pointed out, there's a song on it that, in their own words, "sounds suspiciously like a middle-aged alternative to Panic! At The Disco".
May we point your attention to track number seven…
1. Space Exploration
2. Symbiotes Arrive
3. First Contact
4. Eddie’s Blues
5. Run, Eddie, Run
6. What’s Wrong With Me
7. Panic At The Bistro
8. Humans… Such Poor Design
9. Self Defense
10. Pedal to the Metal
11. Eyes, Lungs, Pancreas
12. You Want Up?
13. Venom Rampage
14. Annie, I’m Scared
15. Parasite
16. Unexpected Ally
17. Battle on the Launch Pad
18. You Belong With Us
Sure, they forgot the exclamation mark, but we're into it nonetheless.
Check out the wicked trailer for Venom, if you haven't already seen it (there's no Brendon Urie cameo… but still… IMAGINE!):
